Space Bros 128K

Space Bros es una videoaventura plataformera colaborativa con una pizca de RPG, programada para ZX Spectrum 128K.

El juego ha sido codificado en Basic Compilado (Boriel ZX Basic) y está publicado en la web del concurso Bytemaniacos 2025 (en esta web se puede encontrar un enlace al juego con las instrucciones completas en español e inglés, carátula de cinta y más)

Los hermanos Matt and Lars exploran planetas de la galaxia en busca de nuevas fuentes de energía. Lars ha dejado de emitir señal desde su último destino, su hermano Matt parte en su busca. Pero no están solos, cuentan con la ayuda de A.L.I.C.E. (Advanced Learning Intelligence Core Engine) para guiarlos.

Controla a los hermanos, haz que colaboren y ayúdales a salir del embrollo en el que se han metido. Además, cuanto más mapa explores más nivel de experiencia adquieres, lo que permite recibir menos daño por parte de los enemigos y del entorno en las siguientes partidas.

Una aventura de las de antes, donde descubrir (y dibujar el mapa a papel y lápiz) era gran parte del juego. Encuentra tu equipo y úsalo para explorar las 48 pantallas del planeta Arboreto a través de 5 zonas: bosque, cuevas, base alien nivel blanco, azul y magenta. El comunicador te permitirá cambiar de jugador, el jetpack te permitirá saltar más alto, el plasma cutter se usa para cortar cristales y la bolsa para poder almacenarlos.

Colabora para abrir puertas y enviar objetos clave mediante los portales de teletransporte. Pero ojo! no estás solo!! Tendrás que evitando un centenar de enemigos, algunos de ellos te perseguirán hasta la saciedad si te acercas demasiado!

Supera las 16 fases del mini juego Crystal Cut para poder extraer energía de los cristales verdes! Los necesitarás para energizar cada una de las 4 keycards que dan acceso a las distintas zonas del mapa. Pero ten cuidado, los cristales son muy inestables y en cualquier momento pueden estallar dañando tu traje.

Brothers Matt and Lars explore planets in the galaxy in search of new energy sources. Lars has stopped emitting a signal from his last destination; his brother Matt sets off to find him. But they are not alone; they have the help of A.L.I.C.E. (Advanced Learning Intelligence Core Engine) to guide them. 

Control the brothers, make them collaborate, and help them get out of the mess they've gotten into. Furthermore, the more of the map you explore, the more experience you gain, which allows you to receive less damage from enemies and the environment in subsequent games.

An adventure from the old days, where discovering (and drawing the map with pen and paper) was a large part of the game. Find your equipment and use it to explore the 48 screens of planet Arboreto through 5 zones: forest, caves, white level alien base, blue, and magenta. The communicator will allow you to switch players, the jetpack will allow you to jump higher, the plasma cutter is used to cut crystals, and the bag is for storing them.

Collaborate to open doors and send key objects through teleportation portals. But beware! You are not alone!! You will have to avoid a hundred enemies, some of whom will chase you relentlessly if you get too close!

Complete the 16 phases of the Crystal Cut mini-game to extract energy from the green crystals! You will need them to energize each of the 4 keycards that give access to the different areas of the map. But be careful, the crystals are very unstable and can explode at any moment, damaging your suit.
